Sun Valley Elementary will be implementing the Parent Teacher Home Visit Project for the 2022-23 school year. Our goal is to conduct 145 home visits this school year. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with families and receive district support in implementing this program. Our site staff that participate in the Parent Teacher Home Visits build connections with families which will result in long-term family engagement and student success. Through this program we are able to communicate to students that we care about them and are invested in their success. Our parents are able to develop a stronger relationship with the school and are able to feel more comfortable at school and with the school staff. We are proud to state that each of the past 3 years, we have reached our home visit goal!
