At Sun Valley Elementary, we truly believe our school is stronger because of our amazing families. Whether you're helping in the classroom, supporting a school event, reading with students, or joining us on a field trip, your time, talents, and encouragement make a meaningful difference. We are incredibly grateful for the many ways our volunteers help our students and staff grow and thrive.
To ensure the safety of all students, all classroom volunteers and field trip chaperones are required to complete the Washoe County School District Volunteer Application before volunteering. Once approved, you'll be ready to join us in creating memorable learning experiences for our Sun Valley Family.

If you have filled out a volunteer application in the past 5 years and have been previously cleared as a Supervised Volunteer, Unsupervised Volunteer or Non-paid coach, you may already be approved.
